Tanzania,
It's here. The Peaberries from the Kanyovu Curing Center have arrived. We added the grain pro packing sack for extra protection and it is paying off. The aroma is sweet pea, the look is very consistent in size and color. We roast Tanzania slightly lighter that Full City and the cherry cocoa aromas prevail. In the cup The Kanyovu is smooth from a mid toned acidity and rich body. I used it as an SOS , single origin shot, in the espresso machine with really nice results, sweet golden caramelly. Very happy the "direct trade" cooperative is putting out such wonderful coffee and improving the quality of life.
